At the quarries of group B, traces of the tools, which were used for the extraction of marble, are visible. Throughout antiquity, the quarry workers were able to dislodge large marble blocks, with geometric precision using wedges, sledgehammer, ax and spear, named respectively in ancient times, wedges, heavies, tikos and needles.
