The quarries of group C are chronologically newer than the others, since they date back to the early Christian times. The area has become flat to a large extent, because large marble bulks have been removed. Moreover, the mining location of the quarries, half-processed blocks, but also traces left by the quarrying techniques and the use of lifting equipment of the marble blocks, are also visible.
