Hatzeas’ fount
The second fount which was built by the Hatzeas brothers, is at a short distance, almost opposite, to the Church of Virgin Mary’s Assumption. It has two spouts and neoclassical features. In its center there was a marble, votive inscription, stating its year of construction which was 1905.
Drawing of John Sigouros, representing the fount of the Hatzeas brothers. The inlaid marble inscription, which is damaged today, was stating “HATZIOS FOUNTAIN YEAR 1905” and below that it was “RENOVATED WITH COMMUNITY’S FUNDS IN THE YEAR 1989”.
