These two buildings were built in the decade of 1890-1900, by Constantinos Leontaridis. Architectural Description: In the first building, that on Antika Street, number 6,there are visible, subsequent alterations, on the outer view. But inside the house there are still murals from the Xanthian artist Theodore Trickis (1898 - 1962), who began his career as a painter and decorator and ended up as hagiographer.
In the picture you see, Theodore Trickis, and his work, which adorns the staircase at the first floor. However, the second building on the same plot with number 8, which, in 1907, was claimed and won from Victoria Dimou, niece of Theodore Zalacha, by George Mauromichalis, mayor of Xanthi, retains its original form. Even today, these buildings serve as residences.
